Build the marketing and go-to-market strategy for National Cables. The brief: take a 54-year-old family-owned cable manufacturer and shape its commercial engine for the next decade — brand, demand, channel, pricing, sales playbook. Reports to the CEO.

Responsibilities

Own the marketing and go-to-market strategy across domestic dealer channel, institutional and EPC, and export
Define brand positioning and execute it across digital, print, trade shows, dealer comms and packaging
Build the sales playbook — what we sell, to whom, at what price, with what trade-marketing support
Set the pricing strategy across IS 694:2010, IS 17048:2018, IS 1554 and IEC 60502 ranges
Stand up the MIS — sales dashboards, lead funnel, channel performance, competitor pricing tracking
Hire and build a small marketing team over 12–18 months as the function scales
Represent the brand at trade bodies (IEEMA, ICEEMA) and industry forums (Elecrama)
Work alongside the CEO and family ownership to shape the professionalisation of the commercial function

Requirements

10–15+ years in marketing, brand or commercial strategy at a wires or cables manufacturer, or directly adjacent — switchgear, modular electricals, electrical infrastructure. FMCG and consumer goods backgrounds do not transfer to this role.
Owned a P&L, a region, or a major function (marketing, regional sales, business unit) end-to-end at a mid-to-large manufacturer in wires, cables, switchgear, or electrical infrastructure.
Built a marketing or commercial function from sub-scale to professional — JDs, processes, vendors, dashboards, ways of working.
Strong on at least two of: brand strategy, trade marketing, channel programme design, pricing, market expansion, digital lead generation.
Working knowledge of IS 694:2010, IS 17048:2018, IS 1554, IEC 60502 product categories and the channel they move through — electrical wholesalers, MEP consultants, EPC contractors, government tenders.
Postgraduate in marketing or management preferred.

Area Sales Manager — Jaipur

Sales · Jaipur, Rajasthan · Full-time · 4–9 years

Own the Jaipur territory. Build the dealer-distributor network, drive secondary sales through the contractor and electrician channel, and open new accounts across the city.

Responsibilities

Appoint and manage dealers and distributors across Jaipur — Nehru Bazaar, Badi Chaupar, Mansarovar, Sanganer, Sitabari and surrounding areas
Drive secondary sales through electrical retailers and hardware wholesalers
Manage schemes, TOD settlement and payment collection from channel partners
Generate orders from electrical contractors, builders and MEP firms across Jaipur's project belt
Plan and execute electrician meets and nukkad meets. Convert leads. Follow up until the order books.
Report competitor pricing, scheme activity and project pipelines weekly

Responsibilities

Appoint and manage dealers and distributors across Delhi NCR — Bhagirath Palace, Lawrence Road, Wazirpur, Chawri Bazaar, Noida and Gurgaon
Drive secondary sales through electrical retailers and hardware wholesalers
Manage schemes, TOD settlement and payment collection from channel partners
Generate orders from electrical contractors, builders, MEP firms and panel manufacturers across Delhi NCR
Plan and execute electrician meets. Convert leads. Follow up until the order books.
Report competitor pricing, scheme activity and project pipelines weekly
Coordinate with our Kasna (Greater Noida) factory — 35 km from central Delhi — on order status and dispatch

QA Engineer — Wires & Cables

Quality · Greater Noida (Kasna Works) · Full-time · 3–4 years

Run the QA lab at our Kasna plant — conductor resistance, insulation, spark and tensile testing to IS 694:2010 and IS 17048:2018. Lead the move from paper logbooks to a structured digital record system over the first 12 months.

Responsibilities

Run and supervise conductor resistance, insulation resistance, spark test and tensile tests per IS 694:2010 and IS 17048:2018
Lead BIS surveillance audit preparation and documentation for both standards
Approve or reject incoming copper rod, PVC compound and XLPE compound lots
Investigate customer quality complaints and drive corrective actions to root cause
Maintain calibration records and preventive maintenance schedules for lab instruments
Migrate QA records from paper logbooks to structured digital logs — Google Sheets and Excel templates with mobile data entry from the shop floor
Define COA templates, NCR forms and batch traceability flow in the new digital format
Train lab technicians and shift supervisors on the new digital workflow

Requirements

3–4 years in QA or testing, strictly at a wire or cable manufacturer — IS 694:2010, IS 17048:2018, IS 1554 or IEC 60502 product range. Wire harness, conductor-only, fiber optic and telecom cable experience does not count for this role.
B.Tech or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
Hands-on testing: conductor resistance, insulation resistance, spark, tensile, HV. Smoke density and oxygen index a plus.
Familiarity with BIS surveillance audit preparation — STI marking, sample retention, test record format
Fluent in MS Excel and Google Sheets — pivot tables, lookups, structured templates. You should be able to build a working data sheet without help.
Comfortable using a smartphone for shop-floor data entry. Prior exposure to any LIMS or ERP QC module is a plus.
Detail-oriented with strong documentation discipline

Regional B2B Sales Manager — North India

Sales · New Delhi / NCR · Full-time · 8–12 years

Lead institutional and project sales across Northern India with a focus on LSZH and fire-safe cable ranges for infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Build and manage relationships with specifiers, EPC contractors and institutional buyers across North India
Drive sales of LSZH (IS 17048:2018) and FR-LSH ranges into infrastructure and commercial projects
Manage tender submissions and GeM portal listings
Lead and mentor the regional field sales team
Coordinate with Delhi HQ for large project quotations

Requirements

8–12 years in B2B or institutional sales in cables or electrical products
Strong network with EPC contractors, MEP consultants and government departments in North India
Deep knowledge of IS 694:2010 and IS 17048:2018 product categories
Graduate in Electrical Engineering preferred; MBA an advantage

Export Sales Executive

Export · New Delhi (remote-friendly) · Full-time · 2–5 years

Drive sales to distributors and direct buyers across Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia under IEC, BS, and SANS standards.

Responsibilities

Identify and qualify export leads via LinkedIn, trade fairs, and referrals
Prepare and follow up on pro-forma invoices, LC documentation, and shipping specs
Coordinate with production on export-grade product availability
Attend international trade shows such as Big 5 Dubai and Buildexpo Africa
Maintain CRM records and achieve monthly export revenue targets

Requirements

2–5 years in B2B export sales — cables, electrical, or industrial goods preferred
Working knowledge of H07V, NYY, SANS 1507, or BS 6004 standards is an advantage
